I was scrolling IG right before lunch today. A lady popped on my screen where she said, "Treat content like you're talking to a friend on Face Time." I liked that perspective. I grabbed my tripod, propped up my phone, and filmed an IG Story while I was cracking my eggs (making lunch). I downloaded the IG Story, and will post as a Reel later today or tomorrow. This is essentially my content strategy. A Creator shared an idea that I thought was cool. I implemented what she suggested. I'll continue creating content like this going forward. I'll update my audience on my progress (what I'm learning, what's working/not working, etc) I'm documenting what I'm doing. It really can be as simple as that. When I woke up this morning, that piece of content was not on my radar. I saw a Reel → I recorded a piece of content within 2-3 minutes implementing what she suggested. Now, I'm writing an email about it (more content). I then turn my email into a long form Thread. This is my journey, so it's uncopiable. I'm documenting my journey. I ain't trying to sound sooper smart (which is what 92.3% of Creators are doing). My content rarely goes viral, but it does lead to DMs like this... My content creates DEMAND. That should be the goal of your content...creating demand for your offer. I've found documenting my journey to be one of the best ways to create demand. I've also found it to be a great way to old me accountable, as it forces me to do/try things in my business, so I can report back to you, Reader. It's made content creation 238x easier, too. So here's my question for you... What are you doing in your business right now that's worth documenting? What lesson did you learn in the last 24 hours? What are you testing? What's working/not working? That's your content. Quit scrambling around for the "perfect" idea. Just document what you're doing/learning right now. When you're ready to create an offer worth documenting... YOU GOT THIS 🙌 In your corner, |

I started writing the 3 Hour Creator in July. Spent 3-4 weeks on it. Never finished it (I'm a starter, not a finisher...can anyone relate?!) Revisited the idea in November. Wrote 5 variations. Wrote 5 different variations. Some are only a dozen pages. Some are full guides. None felt quite right. I had the idea to turn it into a Lovable app around Thanksgiving. Worked on that all December. Launched earlier this month. Got good feedback from some. Some needed more clarification/context on...
A creator I respect DM'd me earlier this afternoon. This guy made a million last year selling digital products. He doesn't sell anything priced over $47, which is impressive AF. All organic, too. Just simple offers that solve real problems. Here's the part of the DM that hit differently... He said he loves "how I carry myself." Not my funnel or tips & tricks. How I carry myself. That felt really good to read. Because most creators are trying to be someone else. Copying the viral videos, or...
I slid in her DMs last night... Do you ever run ads? If not, you should since you get great engagement on your stuff She said she's boosted a few posts in the past. She's a friend of mine who does well on Instagram (great engagement and sales). I suggested she set up a few custom audiences. Custom audience = An ad targeting option that lets you find your existing audiences (website visits, social media following/engagers, viewed videos, etc) This is what I suggested: Create an audience for...
