7 months. 5 versions. Still not done.

I started writing the 3 Hour Creator in July.

Spent 3-4 weeks on it.

Never finished it (I'm a starter, not a finisher...can anyone relate?!)

Revisited the idea in November. Wrote 5 variations. Wrote 5 different variations. Some are only a dozen pages. Some are full guides. None felt quite right.

I had the idea to turn it into a Lovable app around Thanksgiving.

Worked on that all December.

Launched earlier this month.

Got good feedback from some. Some needed more clarification/context on why/how to use the tools.

Here's the thing...

This is being an entrepreneur.

Rarely do things "go as planned" out the gate. You're gonna hit speed bumps. Might get derailed a bit. Will absolutely have thoughts of quitting, and screaming "FU*K THIS SH*T!!!!"

This is the game.

I took feedback from the beta testers a few weeks ago. I'm improving the original offer, and how's it being delivered.

This idea is 7 months in the making.

"I'm really proud of this" I sent a voice note to my friend Audrey this morning.

I don't let these "slip ups" slow me down like I once did.

I keep going. Keep testing shit. Keep improving.

I'm still figuring this shit out as I go. I know some things, but have heaps more to learn.

But you know what?

I'd rather launch messy and improve it in public than wait for it to be perfect and launch in 2079 😜

A few years ago?

I would've panicked, shut it down, called it a loss. Cried in the corner. Yelled at the neighbors at 3 am. Kicked the neighbor's cat. Dwelled on it for MONTHS.

It don't slow me down no mo'.

I want this to be my Magnum Opus.

And it will be. But not version 1. Not even version 5.

It'll be the version I build WITH you. Based on your feedback (good and bad).

Launches soon.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam

A creator I respect DM'd me earlier this afternoon. This guy made a million last year selling digital products. He doesn't sell anything priced over $47, which is impressive AF. All organic, too. Just simple offers that solve real problems. Here's the part of the DM that hit differently... He said he loves "how I carry myself." Not my funnel or tips & tricks. How I carry myself. That felt really good to read. Because most creators are trying to be someone else. Copying the viral videos, or...

I slid in her DMs last night... Do you ever run ads? If not, you should since you get great engagement on your stuff She said she's boosted a few posts in the past. She's a friend of mine who does well on Instagram (great engagement and sales). I suggested she set up a few custom audiences. Custom audience = An ad targeting option that lets you find your existing audiences (website visits, social media following/engagers, viewed videos, etc) This is what I suggested: Create an audience for...

I made a joke on Threads earlier this week... I bet I could double my income if I hired DM setters, closers, and close people on $5K packages. Hell, I know people doing 7-figures with that exact model. But here's the thing... I have zero desire for that kinda business. Not because sales calls don't work. I'm 44, and a Solo Dad of two. No, thanks. I build my YOUniverse around one simple rule: I only do things I actually want to do. No sales calls. No setters or closers. I'd rather earn $100k...
