Friday nights used to send me to Lee's Liquor store

The house is eerily quiet on Friday and Saturday nights when Ava and Ashton are at their mom's. That kind of silence hits different when you're used to 2 kids running through the place.

Back in 2018 when I first became a solo dad (we got back together in 2022) that silence used to send me straight to Lee's Liquor store for some booze. I numbed the pain with booze back then.

This go around as a solo Dad?

I open my phone, and I go live on Tik Tok.

On April 23rd, I challenged myself to do 100 livestreams in 100 days.

I quit in June for 7 days. Then I started back up again. I completed 100 livestreams in 92 days in the 3rd week of July.

Here's the thing...I used to sit at my desk and I was very monotone (read boring AF). I was NOT good. At all.

I kept showing up.

Somewhere along the way, I started standing up. I found I had better energy, as I could move around a bit.

Here's a few comments I've got on some recent lives...

I wasn't getting those comments on back in April or May. Those kinda comments started coming in after months of being bad and boring AF.

Hormozi has been talking about lives lately. I'm not sure there is a better way to build trust in this AI slop world.

Here's your reminder, Reader...

If you're sitting on an idea, and waiting to be good enough to start, I was monotone as a computer desk for 2 straight months before anyone gave a shit. I pushed though those tough, boring, days.

Start ugly.

Start boring.

Start clueless.

Start messy AF.

Get better in public. Each rep is like climbing one rung on confidence ladder.

And never, EVER forget...

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam

I walked into our neighborhood pool with a plan on May 26th... I was gonna swim 3-4x per week. A reasonable goal I could stick with. Well, I didn't stick to it. I did better. I kept showing up. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month. Today, I finished my 100th consecutive day in that pool. 100 days in a row. I'm down 20 lbs. I was down 24 lbs last week, but Ava's bday was on Sunday, and I ate like a pig last weekend (damn you Cheesecake Factory!) and packed on some pounds that I'm...

Man... You guys & gals are amazing. Here's a peek into my inbox from yesterday... Just an outpouring of love. Sure does make a 45 year old man, with an obsession with egg nog, Reese's peanutbutter eggs, and Oreo blizzards from Dairy Queen, feel good. THANK YOU!!! I greatly appreciate you! I'll be honest...I almost didn't hit send yesterday. 23 days of silence is a hard thing to explain, and an even harder thing to admit you don't have a good excuse for. But every single reply told me the same...

23 days. That's how many days since I sent an email. I missed one day. That turned into 5 days. Then 23 days. Then I panicked..."What do I say?" My buddy Kerry texted me about it on August 19th: He was right. 13 days later, I'm finally taking his advice. I apologize for ghosting you, Reader I pride myself on daily emails. I'd sent one every single day since late July 2025, minus one. March 9th. That's the day I got a call from my daughter's school. Mental health crisis. Her mom and I ran up...
