Yesterday morning… I rolled over, grabbed my phone, and squinted at the screen like a caveman discovering fire. $247. At 4:14 AM. Now, let’s be clear… I was NOT awake at that time. I was drooling on my pillow likely dreaming of being at an all-you-can-eat cheeseburger buffet. Meanwhile... Someone on my email list whipped out their debit card. Here's the thing... I looked up her email in my system. She joined my email list in March 2025 (13 months ago). She became a customer last June when she bought a $27 ebook from me. I noticed she opens every email I send. I email my list every day. Some people buy today. Some buy next week. Some buy 13 months from now. That's the game no one is talking about. You get that stinkin' thinkin'..."Does anyone care? Is anyone even reading these emails? Am I wasting my time?" Meanwhile, you do have people reading your emails. Getting to know you, following your journey, gaining trust with you, and you're deepening the relationship with this person, whether you realize it or not. And then one random April morning you wake up to a sale that you might not have "earned" that day, but you did earn it over time. This is why I'm always yapping about building your email list. It ain't the s3xiest platform, and it ain't new like all the shiny AI tools out there, but it's reliable. It's consistent. It's algorithm proof. It's why I flipped on a lead gen campaign on Tuesday with Meta ads. I'm just spending $20/day, and getting leads for $1.27/each. I know some of those 90 leads will become customers this month. Some will become customers next month. And some will buy next year. And some of those leads will unsubscribe and not buy anything. If I've learned one thing over the years, it's this... The bigger my email list = The more digital dollars I stuff in my piggybanks. It takes me about 15 minutes to whip up an email. Which leads to conversations with people every day. These convos help me improve my content, and build a deeper relationship with my people. And some of those people become customers. Some will become clients. Oh, and one BIG benefit of consistently building your email list... You don't have to rely on social as much. If you miss a few days of posting, it doesn't matter as you have a machine working for you. So, Reader... Let this serve as a reminder to build your list. And email your list offers. Email is the backbone for most successful online businesses. YOU GOT THIS 🙌 In your corner, When you're ready, here are a couple of ways I can help you…

I got this message from a client this morning... "Btw, 8 sales today! $213 made 🚀" I built him a custom GPT as a front end offer, and another custom GPT for his order bump. He flipped ads on last week for the first time. 7 days in, and getting customers coming in while he's drooling on his pillow. He's got a platform that he sells, so we're feeding these customers into his software. Running ads isn't about profiting much on the thing you sell in the ad. The real money is what comes after....
Saturday was FUGLY. We lost our flag football game 28-2 (interceptions are worth 1 point each) It's been a rough season. The score was bad, but what happened after the game was pouring salt into the wound. I got approached by one of the kid's parents. They weren’t thrilled about their son’s playing time. Now here’s the kicker… We only had SIX kids show up. 5 are on the field at a time, so everyone played a lot. In fact, their son was standing alone in the endzone when the quarterback heaved...
I saw a post on Threads last night. From a lady who's built a $2 million dollar brand. She shared how much work it takes. She shared how she started... Giving free sessions for months on end. And no, not discovery calls. Full 60 min sessions until I worked up the courage to charge $75/hour. Then $100. Then $250. Then $3,000 for 3 months. Then did a ton live launches. Multiple times a month. Challenges. Webinars. Mini minds. 5 day immersive trainings. You name it. Done it. This is what it...
