Someone asked to buy a product I don't have

I got an email from a subscriber recently that made me smile.

It was a reply to an email where I shared how I did 73 TikTok Lives and made a whopping $83.

I ain't gonna be Porsche 911 shopping with that kinda money.

Here's what they said:

"I AM ENVIOUS OF YOU!"

They went on to tell me how impressed he was that I publish emails DAILY.

Then asked:

"Do you have a course on how to do this???"

I didn't tease a course, or run a survey to my audience.

Shit, I wasn't even talking about email marketing in that email!

I shared how I made $83 in my first 73 livestreams.

The kinda numbers that most wouldn't reveal because it would damage their image, or credibility.

I build my brand on documenting my journey -- the wins, losses, dumb decisions, and the lessons learned.

When you do this consistently, I have found....

Your audience starts telling you what you create for them.

No need for a 7 hour Chat GPT marathon session asking what to create for your audience (please don't do this).

When people ask me these kinda questions, I look at them as signals.

If I get enough people asking how I do something, I consider putting together some sort of training.

This is why I'm always yapping about documenting your journey over creating content.

This style content leads to demand.

It's a hell of a lot easier to sell something people are already ASKING for, as opposed to trying to convince them to buy your stuff.

Here's my challenge to you, Reader...

Stop trying so damn hard to come up with the perfect hook, or picture perfect piece of content.

Share something you're doing or working on.

Something you learned in the last 24 hours.

Something you screwed up in the last 3 days.

Something that worked.

Don't be surprised when people start sliding in your DMs with questions.

Your next offer might be hiding in one of those questions.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam

I've generated $20,017 in the last 73 days. And here's the part most people don't realize... I only promote ONE product on social media. ONE. Not a Stan store with 70-11 links. On social media, I focus on selling just ONE offer. I share stories and I make offers. I document the good AND the bad (like this email). I have fun with my content. Never take this shit too seriously. And invite people to buy that ONE thing. Then I use email to build a deeper relationship with my peeps, and make other...

Super late on this email. The kids were home from school today. Apparently, there's an election going on? Who knew!? When the kids are home...it's damn near impossible to work. On top of all that, we no longer have any Halloween candy. Sad Adam. Anywhoo.... It's pretty damn obvious... I got this DM on Tik TOk this morning: I got this email reply last Friday... I bet I've had 15 or so people ask about the eco-system I've built out on www.adamdukes.me The funny part is, I'm getting these...

I once sold a PDF that didn't exist. Seriously. Not a single page had been written. And I was very upfront with my customers about that. I told them they were essentially "buying air". 100 customers in the first 5 days. Not a single complaint that they had not received what they bought. I had an idea. And instead of spending 3 months creating it, designing a fancy cover, and building a 47 step funnel... I put it up for presale. $10. I had 1,017 followers at the time. Not 100,000. Not 10,000....
