Normal people don't get it 😂

My buddy Kerry stopped by today.

At 2:14 this afternoon, he randomly texted me:

“You have the kids this week? I just dropped my daughter off and wanted to see if you’re free right now?”

10 minutes later he was sitting on my couch.

We spent the next 2.5 hours yapping about entrepreneurship, running ads, funnels, Lovable, dating in Vegas and being a single Dad.

Ya know, normal Monday afternoon shit.

Kerry and I met on an Internet Marketing forum about a decade ago.

I believe he bought an ebook from me all those years ago. He happened to live in Vegas, and one day we got together.

His ex-wife actually lives in my neighborhood, so every once in a while he stops by for a "quick" visit and it's always at least 2-3 hours.

And today reminded me how important entrepreneur friends are.

Because this shit can be lonely AF.

Try explaining to your “normal” friends why you’re pissed because your $9 offer converted at 3.2% instead of 5%. They ain't gonna have a clue what you is talking about. Like when someone tries talking to me about Love Island.

Family & friends aren't supposed to get it. Us entrepreneurs have a different view of the world.

We built different, Reader

I have 3 entrepreneur friends I talk with often. Kerry, Audrey and Conrad.

I met ALL 3 online.

We bounce ideas off each other, hold each other accountable, celebrate our wins together, and share the shit that ain't working.

Talk each other off the ledge when business decides to hand us shit sammiches.

You need people like that.

Find 1 or 2 people that you can chat with, text, call.

Meet up in person, if you live close. Heck, sit on the couch with for 2.5 hours on a Monday afternoon.

Entrepreneurship is hard enough.

Going at this all alone is like climbing Mt. Everest, barefoot, at midnight, with no flashlight and wearing a backpack with 85 lbs of rocks inside.

Speaking of figuring shit out...

If you're sitting on 70-11 ideas and still don't know what to sell, I built the Offer Wizard for exactly that.

In about 10 minutes, it'll help you turn what you know into ONE clear, named, priced offer.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

I've done a shitty job with my daily email habit. I missed 23 days. TWENTY. THREE. And lemme tell ya... Getting back on the daily email train after falling off is about as enjoyable as getting back in the gym after taking a month off. You KNOW you should do it. You KNOW you'll feel better afterward. But your brain makes every damn excuse why "tomorrow is the day". Anywhoo.... I added some color and a fresh design to my new website. And I'm slowly moving everything away from Stan. Products....

Ava stayed home from school today. Girl stuff. As the Dad of a teenager, I’ve learned there are certain situations where my job is NOT to investigate. All I said all morning was... "How ya feeling?" "Need anything?" "Hungry?" There’s something oddly freeing about knowing when you DON’T need to do more. It reminds em a lot of what we do online. When something isn't working...isn't the answer we always rush to is to do MORE. Another funnel, another offer, another platform, another strategy some...

I've been tinkering a little bit too much lately. This time, it's with Lovable. Again. I'm building a new Adam Dukes website. My old AD website is built on Wordpress, and WP makes me want to chuck my laptop out the window.(here's the new site) This will be my new main hub (this idea was inspired by my buddy Kevin Hood, and yes, I "modeled" his simple design, too) Here's what it does right now: two landing pages for capturing leads, a "blog" that auto-posts my daily emails so nothing I write...
