Girl stuff...I don't ask questions.

Ava stayed home from school today.

Girl stuff.

As the Dad of a teenager, I’ve learned there are certain situations where my job is NOT to investigate.

All I said all morning was...

"How ya feeling?"

"Need anything?"

"Hungry?"

There’s something oddly freeing about knowing when you DON’T need to do more.

It reminds em a lot of what we do online.

When something isn't working...isn't the answer we always rush to is to do MORE.

Another funnel, another offer, another platform, another strategy some 23-year-old on dipshit on YouTube swears made him $847,392 before breakfast.

More. MORE.

The older (and a tad wiser) I get, I realize it's more about subtraction.

What can I STOP doing?

What can be simplified?

What are the 2-3 money making activities that I need to focus on daily?

I have ZERO desire to be chained to a desk all day.

I want to have fun.

Share stories.

Make offers.

Serve my people.

Then go be a Dad.

I ain't looking to squeeze MORE into my day, but figuring out what I can remove (the 80/20 of biz).

I'm not after building the biggest business online.

I'm looking to build one of the simplest ones that funds the life I want to actually live.

And today?

That meant being there for Ava.

Even if 92.3% of my job was to stay the hell outta the way 😜

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam

I've been tinkering a little bit too much lately. This time, it's with Lovable. Again. I'm building a new Adam Dukes website. My old AD website is built on Wordpress, and WP makes me want to chuck my laptop out the window.(here's the new site) This will be my new main hub (this idea was inspired by my buddy Kevin Hood, and yes, I "modeled" his simple design, too) Here's what it does right now: two landing pages for capturing leads, a "blog" that auto-posts my daily emails so nothing I write...

Life ain't fair. 102 straight days of swimming laps. Came to an end yesterday 😭😭😭 The pool was closed all day yesterday due to lightning in the area. Apparently, they close the pool if lightning is in a 10 mile radius. By my Conrad said that most guarantees and insurance policies have an "act of God" clause, so I ain't counting yesterday. I got back in the pool and swam my laps today. Life is always gonna hand you shit sammiches. I lost my social media accounts with 56,000+ followers in June...

The house is eerily quiet on Friday and Saturday nights when Ava and Ashton are at their mom's. That kind of silence hits different when you're used to 2 kids running through the place. Back in 2018 when I first became a solo dad (we got back together in 2022) that silence used to send me straight to Lee's Liquor store for some booze. I numbed the pain with booze back then. This go around as a solo Dad? I open my phone, and I go live on Tik Tok. On April 23rd, I challenged myself to do 100...
