Monday I told you 8:42 was gonna be hard to beat (laps in the pool) I meant it. I felt that swim in my chest at lap 7. Finished 14 laps in 8 minutes 42 seconds and figured that was about as fast as this 44 year old body was gonna go. Welp, I was wrong. Yesterday, I finished my 14 laps in 8:18. I shaved off 24 seconds from a time I didn't think I could beat. I started swimming on May 26th, and I weighed 173.4 lbs that morning. I've swam every day since then (every day is the Super Bowl 'round here). This morning the scale read 157.2. That's 16.2 lbs gone in 44 days. I count just about every calorie. I weigh all my food. I started a peptide on May 19th, so it isn't just swimming laps in the pool. Last night, I took my daughter on a date. She picked Chilis (zero complaints from me). I may or may not have ate 93.7% of the chips & salsa, and didn't track those. I stuffed my face with a mint Oreo Blizzard, pizza and cheeseburgers in Arizona last week. Didn't track or weigh anything on the trip. On Monday, I thought I hit my ceiling. I wasn't sure I'd beat that for a few more weeks. And I smoked it by 24 seconds in 2 days. It's all in our heads. We limit ourselves on what we think is possible. It reminds me of the story of Roger Bansiter. Roger broke the 4 minute mile in May 1954. Up until that point, every said it was physically impossible. Scientists even said the body was not able to run a 4 minute mile. Roger didn't listen to the "experts". Within 12 months of him breaking the 4 minute mile, there were a dozen or so others who broke it. I yap about it often, but entrepreneurship is 90% mindset and 10% strategy/tactic/luck. You've got your own version of the 4 minute mile. Some ceiling you decided was fixed a while back. Maybe it's "I can't replace my income without the 9-5." Maybe it's "I tried the online business thing once, it didn't work." Or "I live a boring life. I've got nothign exciting to share online". On Monday, I didn't think I could beat 8:42. After yesterday, I know I'll break 8 minutes in the coming weeks. YOU GOT THIS 🙌 In your corner, |

Ava, Ashton, my parents and myself went to Chick-fil-A for lunch today. We got there around noon, and the place was packed. No surprise. The staff running around with smiles and trays in each hand, saying, "my pleasure" like they meant it. As my Dad was wiping salt off his hands from the waffle fries, I got to thinking about Chick-fil-a's operation. They sell chicken. Nothing else. Sandwiches, nuggets, strips, delicious waffle fries and milkshakes. You ain't gonna find burgers, tacos,...
On Wednesday, I told you I took the feedback I got from MonetizedOS and rebuilt it into something simpler, more powerful. It's called Jax. One AI, one conversation. You tell it what you're building, an offer, your story, your voice, your sales page, and it builds it with you, right there in the chat. No picking between nine different tools anymore. No figuring out which one solves your problem before you've even started. I'm also reviving the Skool community, 3 Hour Creators. I dropped the...
We have a sauna here in our neighborhood. It's gym, sauna, then I swim laps. That be my daily routine. Well, some of the older guys have been pouring water on the coals in the sauna. It's electric, so it doesn't work that way. The sauna has been out of commission for several weeks now. They finally fixed it on Thursday. I was in a sauna for a few minutes by myself yesterday. A man walked in and sat down. I saw him in the sauna on Thursday. I see him walking daily in the neighborhood. We got...
