My significant other boarded a plane to Alaska this morning. For the next 30 days, it's just me, the kids and -- soon -- enough laundry to open a 2nd hand clothing store. My 1st thought: Grab the whiskey (kidding...I quit drinking 2,096 days ago) But then it hit me... Life has a way of throwing us into situations that force us to level up. A lot like business. There's never a "perfect" time to start. You'll never feel 100% ready. And some days, you'll want to burn it all to the ground. Growth does NOT happen when things ARE comfortable. It happens when you're stretched. I'll be "stretched" as a Dad as I play Dad & Mom for the next 30 days. I'll learn to adapt and get creative with dinner (Mac & cheese or cereal, kids?) I have days when I put off launching the product, as I worry no one will buy. I have days when I get scared sharing something vulnerable. I have days when I struggle with an idea for an email. Remember: The magic happens in the messy. My challenge to you today, Reader... "What's one thing you've been avoiding or putting off because you "don't feel ready" or "it's not perfect"? Take the leap. Do the damn thing. You figure out 96.3% of this business as you go. Gotta run, I think the kids are in the kitchen juggling the knives (again)! YOU GOT THIS 🙌 In your corner, When you're ready, here are a few ways I can help you…

This morning, I got a DM from someone with 140,000 Instagram followers. Her question? "What's your secret to success?" I stared at the message. Blinked twice. Took a bite of my eggs (I eat 10 eggs/day, in case you're new 'round here), then replied: "I'm a stubborn MFer" Here's the exchange: That's it. That's the "secret". I’ve failed more times than I can count. I've had launches that flopped (that hurt my pride & ego!) Burned cash on ads that didn’t convert. Spent months posting Reels that...
I finally made good on a promise I made 6 months ago. We took the kids go-karting last night! Something I said we'd do late last summer (once the weather cooled off) They were ecstatic! I was nervous. This was their 1st time. Here's the thing... They were naturals out there on the track! Especially our daughter, who blew past every expectation I had. She was weaving in and out, hugging the turns, and was calm as a cucumber. I unfairly underestimated her. She wasn't just good. She was 10x...
Yesterday sucked. I'd rather dig my eyeballs out with plastic spoons. My website was down for 3/4 of the day yesterday. I lost $84.63 because my ads were going to a broken site. Luckily, someone brought it to my attention yesterday evening. I panicked. I spent hours last night troubleshooting it (read: frantic Googling), and finally crashed in bed at 1:38 am. The good news? It's fixed now. I woke up to $178 in sales. And an email from a lady named Sarah. She joined the Digital Product...
