This morning, I got a DM from someone with 140,000 Instagram followers.

Her question?

"What's your secret to success?"

I stared at the message. Blinked twice. Took a bite of my eggs (I eat 10 eggs/day, in case you're new 'round here), then replied:

"I'm a stubborn MFer"

Here's the exchange:

That's it. That's the "secret".

I’ve failed more times than I can count.

I've had launches that flopped (that hurt my pride & ego!)

Burned cash on ads that didn’t convert.

Spent months posting Reels that got stuck in “200 view jail.”

There were weeks I wanted to scrap it all and go back to driving Uber.

But I kept going.

Why?

Because I decided that quitting wasn’t an option. I’d rather fail 70-11 more times than sit on the sidelines watching other people win.

And that’s the part nobody wants to talk about.

They want the sexy secret. The hack. The shortcut. The viral Reel formula.

But real success? It’s usually just boring consistency, dressed up in sweatpants, drinking black coffee, and muttering “just one more day” under its breath.

You don’t need to be the smartest, the fastest, the best looking or the most charismatic.

You just need to be the one who keeps showing up—especially when it feels like it’s not working.

And usually right after you wanted to give up.

Keep going.

Keep swinging the bat.
