The chicken place just embarrassed McDonald's

Ava, Ashton, my parents and myself went to Chick-fil-A for lunch today. We got there around noon, and the place was packed. No surprise. The staff running around with smiles and trays in each hand, saying, "my pleasure" like they meant it. As my Dad was wiping salt off his hands from the waffle fries, I got to thinking about Chick-fil-a's operation. They sell chicken. Nothing else. Sandwiches, nuggets, strips, delicious waffle fries and milkshakes. You ain't gonna find burgers, tacos,...

On Wednesday, I told you I took the feedback I got from MonetizedOS and rebuilt it into something simpler, more powerful. It's called Jax. One AI, one conversation. You tell it what you're building, an offer, your story, your voice, your sales page, and it builds it with you, right there in the chat. No picking between nine different tools anymore. No figuring out which one solves your problem before you've even started. I'm also reviving the Skool community, 3 Hour Creators. I dropped the...

We have a sauna here in our neighborhood. It's gym, sauna, then I swim laps. That be my daily routine. Well, some of the older guys have been pouring water on the coals in the sauna. It's electric, so it doesn't work that way. The sauna has been out of commission for several weeks now. They finally fixed it on Thursday. I was in a sauna for a few minutes by myself yesterday. A man walked in and sat down. I saw him in the sauna on Thursday. I see him walking daily in the neighborhood. We got...

Conor McGregor waited 5 years for last night. His leg snapped in half in July 2021, and hasn't fought since. A civil case, and hundreds of headlines claiming "he's done". He walked down the aisle at T-Mobile arena (about 20 minutes from Chateau de Dukes). He threw an awkward flying leg kick to start the fight and fell down. He tried the same kick seconds later, and fell down again. The fight lasted 69 seconds. The ref waived his hands when Connor's leg buckled while walking toward his...

Monday I told you 8:42 was gonna be hard to beat (laps in the pool) I meant it. I felt that swim in my chest at lap 7. Finished 14 laps in 8 minutes 42 seconds and figured that was about as fast as this 44 year old body was gonna go. Welp, I was wrong. Yesterday, I finished my 14 laps in 8:18. I shaved off 24 seconds from a time I didn't think I could beat. I started swimming on May 26th, and I weighed 173.4 lbs that morning. I've swam every day since then (every day is the Super Bowl 'round...

I had a client reach out to me yesterday. We started working together last fall. Life lifed HARD for her in October. She had to step away to grieve and breathe. I got a Volley message from her yesterday (a messaging app I use for my private clients). She was ready to get back to it, and asked for a plan of attack. She's got a Print on Demand store in a cool niche. We discussed a custom GPT last fall, and she asked about moving forward with that. She's got an idea for a course and a case...

My morning routine has gone to shit. My bedroom is on the mina floor (I'm not a fan). I sit in bed while sipping on my coffee. The problem? I make 8 cups of coffee. And feel like I have to drink it all. That turns into justifying So that takes time, which leads to doomscrolin. Radical change requires radical change, so I overhauled my shitty morning routine yesterday. I wake up and pray. I then make 6 cups of coffee (will get down to 4 soon). I stretch while the coffee is brewing. I drink my...

I hit the pool again this afternoon. I started swimming on May 26th. I haven't missed a day. I swim 14 laps (each lap is 25 yards). I'd swim 2 laps (roughly 1 minute) and take a 1 minute break. I've improvd, so now I swim 4 laps at a time. And take maybe a 30 second break. It used to take me about 13 minutes to finish. A couple weeks ago I started timing myself. First real number I clocked was 9:08. I couldn't beat it. I'd come close, and miss it by 3 seconds, miss it by 10, miss it by a lot....

250 years ago, a group of men with zero plan signed a piece of paper. No certainty, but enough conviction that staying put was no longer an option. Happy 250th bday America! Might just be one of the messiest launches in history. None of those dudes had it figured out. A deadline forced them to send it. Like I always yap about... "Done beats perfect" Not just a slogan, this country was built off those 3 words. Today I'm at the pool with the kids, followed by watching fireworks get blown off...

I launched Threads Unleashed 2 years ago today. I remember shaking like a Polaroid picture that Monday morning. Planned to launch it around 8 am. Was scared shitless. It was about 11:30 am, and I told myself, I'd launch it after lunch" I ate lunch. Froze. Sent the email around 1 that afternoon. I told myself I wasn't gonna drive Uber that night if I made $150 by 5:00. I passed that by 5, and didn't drive Uber. Ended up doing $245 that first day...on a product that wasn't even written yet!...
