I'm taking my 13 year old daughter to see Weezer tonight. Her FIRST concert! Funny enough, I got into Weezer when I was about her age. 32 years later, I'm taking my daughter to see the same band. Life really comes full circle. Anywhooo.... Before I head out...I have to share something that happened today. A buddy of mine made $1,200 in TWO HOURS on a TikTok livestream this morning. Here's the crazy part... On Monday? He made $0. ZERO. Him and I chatted on the phone this morning. He's on my email list and told me my emails about livestreaming inspired him to finally give it a shot. Here's how his week went: MONDAY: First livestream EVER. $0. WEDNESDAY: Two livestreams. $890. FRIDAY: One 2-hour livestream. $1,200. He sent me this text earlier: "$1862 today total." For context, he has 39,000 followers. And sells a $24 offer. Not $997 course, or some high ticket coaching program. Just a simple $24 offer and the willingness to hit that damn GO LIVE button. Now, I ain't suggesting everyone will make $1,862 on their fifth day of livestreaming. These are HIS results. But here's what I find fascinating... He didn't need a new offer, a better funnel, or more followers. He needed to change HOW he was showing up. Think about it... Someone can read your posts for MONTHS and still feel like they don't really know you. But when they watch you talk, teach, answer questions, and just be yourself LIVE? HELLO STRIPE NOTIFICATIONS!!! They get to experience the person behind the offer. And I yap about this often, but your people are buying WHO you are over WHAT you're selling. I've found no faster way to build that trust online than hitting the GO LIVE button. Remember, I made a whopping $83 from my first 73 livestreams. So I ain't saying every Live will be a home run, but I am saying there's something powerful about getting in front of people and yapping live. And this brings me back to my One Damn Offer philosophy... Sometimes the thing standing between you and more sales isn't a better offer. It's giving people a better opportunity to trust the person selling it. Stop looking for the next shiny object. Get really fu*king good at selling the ONE you've already got.
